Adjuvants
Extenders, wetting agents, sticking agents and fogging agents are all adjuvants, which can be defined as a substance other than water, and not itself a pesticide, which enhances the effectiveness of the pesticide with which it is used.
Adjuvants are used in all kinds of crops for many purposes, which include:
- Armobreak, which improves the uptake of nitrogen at late dormancy in apples to induce even budbreak
- Bond-Xtra, an organosilicone super-spreader, deposition/retention agent to enhance the spreading and foliage deposition and retention of fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators and nutrients.
- Latron B-1956 surfactant, a general purpose wetting agent especially for use in horticulture.
Like the other crop protection products stocked by Fruitfed Supplies, the range of adjuvants on the market is substantial and our trained field and branch representatives are here to help you select the best product for your purpose. However we recommend you check product use with your exporter, where applicable.
The adjuvants distributed exclusively by Fruitfed Supplies are listed below, but we have many more available in-store. See our branch location page for contact details.
