The well-proven rock-wool growing medium

The extensive Cultilène range of rock wool-based hydroponic substrates is well-proven as growing and propagation media for many vegetable and flower crops.

Based in the Netherlands, Saint-Gobain Cultilène manufactures in various plants around the world, frequently custom-making a Cultilène slab or block to suit a client’s specific requirements.

Fruitfed Supplies has the exclusive distribution rights for Cultilène in New Zealand.

Cultilène is well regarded due to:
- its high level of controllability with an effective air-to-water ratio;
- its reliable homogeneity to allow unhampered and regular root growth;
- its functional strength and dimensional stability, as slabs or blocks, to suit the intended period of use and application;
- its high quality polythene sleeving with watertight, strong seals;
- the ability to provide slabs with factory-made holes to suit the crop and save the grower time.

More details are available from your local Fruitfed Supplies representative or from http://www.cultilene.nl/uk/. Please note that not all Cultilène product lines and sizes are carried in stock. • Slab retains its strength and dimensional stability, while air-to-water ratio remains optimal throughout life of slab
  • EC and pH levels maintained via irrigation
Exact

  • A strong slab, suited for single year use
  • Slab’s strength ensures air-to-water ratio remains stable
  • Mainly horizontal fibre structure ensures good root formation and distribution
