Galuku cocopeat (Organic)
Suitable for hydroponically-grown flowers, vegetables and berries, as well as nursery and other propagation uses and an organic amendment for turf sports surfaces, Cocopeat comes in two types of slab, as well as bulk and bagged grades.

Truss arch clips
These strong and durable plastic truss arch clips have rounded edges. This makes them easier on operators’ fingers when being applied to support the ripening tomato bunch from snapping away from the main plant.

Stem clips
Many tomato and capsicum growers twist their plants around the supporting twine (see below), which can be a labour-intensive process. Save time by using this sturdy plastic reusable clip to secure the plant to the twine. They are easy to unclip and adjust as plants grow.

Hook & twine
Also known as tomato layering hooks, the pre-assembled hook and twine set comes in various sizes and specifications. Available with the option of a freefall mechanism, tomato layering hooks also come in red or green to allow lateral or secondary stems to be marked.

Insect control
Imported from the United Kingdom, the Rollertrap range of sticky insect traps come two forms: (1) rolls from which large strips – sticky on both sides – can be cut, and (2) ready-made panels which simply hook onto a piece of wire.
Designed to attract and trap sciarids, shoreflys, aphids, whitefly and leafminers; will also trap thrips. Hang near doors and vents to monitor for first signs of pest invasion.

Sterilisation products
Glasshouse hygiene is always important so ensure no unwanted diseases are carried into your glasshouse on shoes or tyres by laying a suitably-shaped sterilisation mat in every doorway.
Fill with a suitable sterilising agent, refilling regularly. Hydroponic systems also need cleaning on a regular basis to prevent the build-up of algae and fertiliser.
Discuss your system with your Fruitfed Supplies representative; there are several different options for sterilisation so it’s best to discuss what it appropriate to your crop and end market.

Flooring products
Mulch film, panda film and weed mat all come in various sizes and specifications. Discuss which options best suit your glasshouse with your Fruitfed Supplies representative. Remember, if sufficient quantity is ordered, it’s possible to custom-made make the flooring product of your choice to a specified thickness and width.

Services such as irrigation / hydroponic system flushing and irrigation / hydroponic system design are also easy to arrange through Fruitfed Supplies. Our in-house irrigation designers are skilled at interpreting your requirements to develop practical efficient systems.
